Terms of Service
Last updated 14 August 2026 · These terms are a binding contract
By creating an account, taking the combine questionnaire, subscribing, buying Trading Coins or entering any competition, you accept every term below, including the binding arbitration and class-action waiver in section 18. If you do not agree, do not use Major League Crypto. A plain-English walkthrough of the same rules, roles and pay cuts is in the Rulebook; where the two differ, these terms control.
1. Who we are and what Major League Crypto is
Major League Crypto ("Major League Crypto", "we", "us") operates a skill-based performance competition and social platform for traders. We are not a broker, exchange, bank, money transmitter, investment adviser, commodity trading advisor, fund manager or custodian of your trading capital. We never hold, direct or execute your trades. All trading happens in your own account at your own third-party broker or exchange, under their terms.
2. No financial, investment, tax or legal advice
Everything on Major League Crypto — playbooks, coach signals, Academy lessons, chat walls, ratings, leaderboards and statistics — is provided for informational, educational and entertainment purposes only. It is not advice, a recommendation, a solicitation or an offer to buy or sell any asset. Coaches, teammates and other users are independent individuals, not our employees or agents, and we do not review, endorse or verify anything they post or share. You are solely responsible for every trading decision you make.
3. Risk disclosure
Trading crypto assets and derivatives involves substantial risk of loss, including the total loss of your capital. Leverage magnifies losses. Past performance, ratings, win rates and profit ratios shown anywhere on Major League Crypto are historical and are not indicative of future results. Volatility, exchange outages, liquidation, network congestion and regulatory change can destroy positions instantly. Never risk money you cannot afford to lose entirely.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, whichever is higher), legally able to enter contracts, and not barred by the laws of your country, state or territory from participating in paid skill competitions. You are responsible for confirming that your use of Major League Crypto is lawful where you are. We may restrict, geoblock or close accounts in any jurisdiction at any time, with or without notice.
5. Accounts, KYC and verification
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secret, and connect only real live funded trading accounts that belong to you. Demo, paper, simulated, shared, rented, copied or third-party accounts are prohibited. We may require identity verification (KYC) at any time and may suspend or permanently erase any account that appears fake, duplicated, automated, bot-operated, KYC-failed or fraudulent — including forfeiting any Trading Coin balance associated with it.
You may register either as an individual or as a business/corporation. Business accounts must complete the same identity verification for the authorised representative and must additionally supply a registered business name, a business registration number and genuine documentary proof of registration (for example a certificate of incorporation). By registering a business account you represent that the entity is lawfully formed and in good standing, that you are authorised to bind it, and that the documents you upload are authentic. We may reject, suspend or erase any business account whose documents cannot be verified. Business accounts remain fully responsible for their own tax, accounting, licensing and regulatory obligations in every jurisdiction in which they operate.
6. Subscriptions and billing
The MLC Pass is $9.99 per month after a 3-day free trial, billed automatically to your payment method until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your Locker or Billing page; access continues until the end of the paid period. Except where a non-waivable law requires otherwise, all fees are non-refundable and partial periods are not pro-rated. If a payment fails, access is suspended until the balance is settled. Prices may change with notice before your next renewal.
7. Trading Coins
Trading Coins are a limited-purpose, non-interest-bearing digital credit used for competition entry inside Major League Crypto. They are not legal tender, securities, e-money, bank deposits, investments or a store of value, they carry no ownership or governance rights, and they are not insured by any authority. Trading Coins are non-transferable between users except where the platform provides the function. Major League Crypto charges a hosting fee of 3% of every competition buy-in, and payment processing fees are passed through to the purchaser at checkout. Withdrawals convert Trading Coins to crypto at 1 TC = $1 and are processed manually after review; we may delay, refuse or reverse any withdrawal we reasonably believe is connected to fraud, chargebacks, sanctions, money laundering or a breach of these terms.
8. Competitions
Competitions are skill-based contests scored on verified profit ratio over the contest window. Entry fees are final once an entry is submitted. We may cancel, reschedule, re-score, void or refund any competition affected by data errors, exchange outages, manipulation, collusion, wash trading, cross-account hedging, insufficient participation or force majeure. Our scoring, ranking and dispute decisions are final. Prohibited conduct includes multi-accounting, buying or selling accounts, using undisclosed automation to fabricate results, or manipulating any market to win a contest.
9. Roles: players, coaches and agents
You may hold one active role at a time — player, coach or agent — and may switch roles from your Locker. Coaches must have at least one year of verified trade history, and a coach's own trading never counts toward their team's statistics. Coaches may release a rostered player to free agency without that player's consent; a trade between teams requires the agreement of both coaches and the player. Players may leave a team at any time. Agents do not compete in competitions and may not be backed by other agents. Coaches and agents act on their own behalf as independent users; they are not employees, partners or agents of Major League Crypto, and Major League Crypto is not a party to any arrangement between them and the people they coach or represent.
10. Commissions and prize distribution
When a competition settles, the platform distributes the pot automatically in this order: (a) Major League Crypto retains 3% of each buy-in; (b) any agent commission agreed in an active agent contract is paid from the prize; (c) a coach receives 10% of the prize when a rostered player or their team wins; (d) accepted agent stakes are settled as described in section 11; and (e) the remainder is paid to the winner, or divided evenly among the rostered players of a winning team. No user is required to pay another user manually, and no user may demand payment outside these automatic distributions. Ranking is by verified profit percentage over the contest window and our settlement calculations are final.
11. Agent stakes
An agent may offer Trading Coins to back a player or a team, either for a specific competition or open-ended. Coins are held from the agent's balance when the offer is made and returned if the offer is declined or withdrawn. A stake is not a loan, a security, a share in any entity, a managed investment or a promise of any return.
If the backed party wins, the stake earns the same proportion of the actual profit as it covered of the entry fee, and that portion is divided equally between the agent and the backed party, with the agent's original stake also returned. For example, on a 10 TC buy-in a 1 TC stake represents 10% of the entry, so 10% of the profit is the stake's portion and the agent and the backed party receive 5% each. A stake placed on an individual player is settled only against that player's own share of any team winnings; a stake placed on a team is settled against the team's winnings before they are divided. A coach's 10% commission is unaffected by any stake. If the backed party does not win, the stake is not returned. Agents accept the total risk of loss on every stake.
12. Referral rewards
Each account receives a unique referral code. For every ten referred users who complete the free trial and pay a first subscription, the referring account earns one free month of the MLC Pass, claimable from the profile page. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, incentivised sign-ups and any other manipulation void all rewards and may result in account closure. We may change or end the referral programme at any time; already-earned months will be honoured.
13. Taxes
You are solely responsible for determining, reporting and paying any taxes arising from your trading, prizes, withdrawals or use of Major League Crypto. We may collect tax information and issue or withhold as required by law.
Individuals and businesses alike handle their own taxes. Major League Crypto does not act as an employer, withholding agent, accountant or tax adviser for any user, does not calculate or remit income, corporate, sales, VAT, GST or capital-gains tax on your behalf, and provides no tax reporting beyond what applicable law requires of us. Business and corporate accounts expressly acknowledge that all tax filings, payroll, distributions to their own members and any tax owed on Trading Coin purchases, prizes or withdrawals are entirely their responsibility, and they indemnify Major League Crypto against any tax, penalty or interest claimed by any authority in connection with their activity.
14. Acceptable use and security
You may not: attack, probe, scan or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform, its APIs, its infrastructure, its database or any account other than your own; reverse engineer, scrape, spider or bulk-extract data; circumvent rate limits, paywalls, authentication or entitlement checks; upload malware; impersonate anyone; harass, threaten or abuse other users; post illegal, infringing or hateful content; or use the platform to launder funds or evade sanctions. Violations may result in immediate permanent removal, forfeiture of balances, and referral to law enforcement. Responsible security disclosures are welcome and should be reported to us before any public disclosure.
15. User content and licence
You retain ownership of the profile images, jerseys, logos, playbooks and messages you upload, and you confirm you have the rights to them. You grant Major League Crypto a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, display, reproduce and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform. We may remove any content at our discretion and are not obligated to store or return it.
16. Service availability and third parties
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Statistics are derived from third-party brokers, exchanges and data feeds that may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. We are not responsible for the acts, outages, insolvency, security failures or terms of any broker, exchange, payment processor, translation service or other third party.
17. Limitation of liability and indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Major League Crypto and its owners, officers, employees and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, or for any lost profits, lost trading opportunities, lost data, liquidations or trading losses, however caused and under any theory of liability. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the platform is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US $100.
You agree to indemnify and hold Major League Crypto harmless from any claim, loss, liability, damage or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your trading activity, your content, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
18. Disputes, arbitration and class-action waiver
Contact us first: most issues are resolved informally within 30 days. If they are not, any dispute arising out of or relating to Major League Crypto will be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration, not in court and not before a jury, under the rules of a recognised arbitration body in our place of business, in English. You and Major League Crypto each waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class, collective or representative action. Claims must be brought within one year of when they arise or be permanently barred. Where a non-waivable law gives you a different right, that right prevails to the minimum extent required.
19. Termination and account deletion
You may cancel your subscription or permanently delete your account at any time from your Locker. Deletion removes your profile, stats, memberships, messages and balances and cannot be undone; unspent Trading Coins are forfeited unless you withdraw them first. We may suspend or terminate any account immediately for breach of these terms, suspected fraud or legal necessity. Sections 2, 3, 7, 9, 12, 13, 14 and 16 survive termination.
20. Privacy and changes to these terms
We collect only what we need to run the platform — account details, verification data, performance statistics and payment records — and we never sell your personal data. Payments are handled by our payment processor; we never store full card numbers. We may update these terms; material changes take effect when posted here and your continued use means acceptance. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
Major League Crypto is a competition platform, not a broker or adviser. Trade at your own risk.
